Tom Ham’s Lighthouse has been an iconic venue in San Diego for decades. Tom Ham originally opened the restaurant in 1971, and the Lighthouse remains a beacon both on the dining map of San Diego and the nautical map as a fully functioning lighthouse. Tom was very passionate about California history, and wanted to incorporate the nautical culture of San Diego into his vision for an elegant dining experience. The architecture of the restaurant beautifully brings in these elements, creating a wonderful atmospheric experience reminiscent of classic sailing ships as you look out over the bay.
Built on Harbor Island, the amazing backdrop of the bay, the San Diego skyline, the Bridge, and Coronado make Tom Ham’s Lighthouse an ideal venue for a wedding. The new Ceremony Site accomodates 250+ guests and overlooks the picturesque view. The California Room and the Harbor View Room are both perfect spaces for the reception with plenty of seating and a a dance floor in each.
We have had the pleasure of working with Tom Ham’s Lighthouse for wedding & events for years – always look forward to going back to such a fantastic venue!
