Ryan & Erin’s Wedding at Cannon’s Dana Point

Ryan and Erin held their seaside wedding at the wonderful Cannon’s Restaurant in Dana Point, CA with high views of the pacific, overlooking the harbor full of sailboats and public parks. It was a great celebration with half of the guests from the “East Coast” while the other half from the “West Coast”.

Ryan & Erin were referred from a past couple, Mike & Alison – the best kind of work (Erin’s parents were at a wedding I worked a few years ago.)

The wedding ceremony was held outside on the main patio. Following, guests were escorted inside the restaurant for Cocktails and Hor’dourves where a groovy cocktail mix of 80s, 90s and 00’s songs played, while the staff “flipped” the patio for dinner. We sat guests and went through the Wedding Party Introductions right into Ryan & Erin’s first dance and then into Dinner. Following dinner, we started up Dancing outside on the patio with the Family Dances and into Open Dancing.

We were only allowed to go until 10pm, but knowing they were going to party longer, we had already planned to move back inside the restaurant where I had a complete 2nd DJ system setup and ready to go.  Once guests got situated inside, the party didn’t take long to get back up to speed.  Let’s just say it ended on an incredibly high note!  The last dance occurred with the lights on as we pushed thing over a bit . . and no one minded a bit (or maybe didn’t even notice 😉 )
