December weddings are always a pleasure and helping Natalie & Jeff with theirs kept this promise true! They held their complete weddings on location at Wiens Family Cellars Winery in Temecula, CA. The celebration began memorable, and ended memorable therefore did not disappoint! The entire wedding was full of irony for me personally as well. More on that later.
The evening ceremony started just after sunset and finished in complete darkness under a December chilly night for a ceremony that no one will forget. I felt for the photographer and video team as they shot nearly in the dark.
Pastor Jack Hawkins conducted an awesome ceremony! Following, guests were escorted to the Barrel Room to enjoy Cocktails and Appetizers. (That was my time to break down my ceremony system, and it was done in complete darkness) Finally, guests came back to the Event Pavillon for the dinner & reception to complete the celebration!
Back to that Irony thing . . . firstly, Pastor Jack is my Pastor at Canyon Springs Church in Scripps Ranch, which was just cool! Then as I was setting up, Patty, one of the bridesmaids approached me and to my surprise, turns out that she is in my current Running Club (She felt the need to tell me that missed the morning’s run 😉 ) Finally, partly through the reception, I get called over to a table only to find Rick G., another friend of mine from my running club, hit me up – he was a guest of one of Natalie’s friends!
The reception was wonderful! From dinner to the toasts to the very end! Everyone danced and had a great time . . . all the way to the end. (Sorry, Wiens . . . I played until 10:02pm 😉 ) As we neared the end, the dancefloor gradually filled until just about EVERY guest was on it for the last dance (which was NOT “Last Dance” . . . . but LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” into Chris Brown’s “Forever”). It was an awesome way to end the night! Congratulations, Natalie & Jeff!
Super Vendors? Along with Pastor Jack, and the team from Wiens Family Cellars noted above, it was great to work with Nan Grenier and her video team from Classic Filmworks and Photographer Joe Stien from Studio Paris again.

Blake – we cannot thank you enough for everything that you did to make our day fantastic. We knew going into the day that you would be there to guide everything along in exactly the way we planned and it was everything and more. What a bonus to see such fun pictures of our wild and crazy guests! Several people commented on how professional, energetic, and personable you were and we fully agree.
Awesome! Thank you very much, Natalie & Jeff. It was a real pleasure working with you both, and your friends & families. It was definitely a wedding to remember and I’m proud to have been a part of it! We’ll keep in touch – in the meantime, I wish you both the best of everything your new life will have to offer! ~Blake
