Guests enjoyed a great wedding reception at The Prado with custom gobo and accent lighting behind

The Prado in Balboa Park is one of San Diego’s most popular wedding venue and there’s little question as to why. Dru & Lindsey held their celebration in style and it was a great one! They were referred by a past couple, Heath & Alexis who were present at the wedding – always great to see past clients!

The ceremony was on-site at the Casa Del Rey Moro Gardens where we helped with the Ceremony Sound System, followed by a Cocktail Hour in the Fountain Courtyard which we provided a groovy custom set music and wash lighting. The reception followed inside the Grand Ballroom where we spiced things up with a custom gobo monogram projected onto the curtain with some effect lighting to up the effect. The Prado’s dinner was magnificent as usual and the party started with some live entertainment by Wayward Sons, a great band out of Los Angeles. We provided additional AV services to support the band and interface with our main sound system. They certainly got things warmed up and I finished the night with a non-stop dance set!

Fun Times with Maeghan from Weddings Made Splendid who was awesome to work with from early with all of the planning, Sean from Sean Walker Photography whom I’ve worked with a few times before, and it was great to see Andrea from The Prado again (I’ve worked with Andrea probably the most over the years at The Prado)
