Brides and Grooms alike know the Gangnam Style!
Mashable reported yesterday that Psy’s “Gangnam Style” has taken the #1 most viewed YouTube video of all time, surpassing Justin Beiber’s “Baby” with over 805 million views and over 5 million likes. I can only say that I agree 100% as it has become the most requested song at my weddings and events, and the quantity and frequency of requests has put it at the very top in the last 8+ years since I’ve been DJ’ing.
In My Opinion, it’s outpaced BEP’s “I Gotta Feeling” and LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” which have been the hot songs over the past couple of years. Everyone from 8 year-olds to 68 year-olds seems to want to hear the quirky, but highly addictive dance track – and it seems that everyone knows the dance moves too.
I have a feeling I’ll be playing it for a long time!
