Lindsey & Dru’s Balboa Park Wedding

The Prado in Balboa Park is one of San Diego’s most popular wedding venue and there’s little question as to why.  Dru & Lindsey held their celebration in style and it was a great one!  They were referred by a past couple, Heath & Alexis who were present at the wedding – always great to see past clients! The ceremony was on-site at the Casa Del Rey Moro Gardens where we helped with the Ceremony Sound System, followed by a Cocktail Hour in the Fountain Courtyard which...

Allan and Alison’s Hilton Torrey Pines Wedding

Allan and Alison celebrated their all-inclusive wedding day at the Hilton Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA.  The wedding ceremony was outside an the Parterre Garden followed by a Cocktail Hour inside the Foyer of the Grande Ballroom. We helped light up the room with Blue Uplighting along with a Custom Gobo Monogram that was also further highlighted with custom surrounding light effects.  It really made the otherwise empty air wall really stand out – good thing since the focus point was right...

Step & Repeat Banner for Estancia Hotel & Spa, La Jolla

The Estancia Hotel & Spa of La Jolla held a grand re-opening event after the successful acquisition by Pacific Hospitality Group (PHG). With all big events, a Step & Repeat Banner can really enhance the atmosphere and provide a fun yet classy way for guests to have their snapshot taken.  The banner was strategically setup just past the main lobby entry so guests could have their picture taken right away, yet the placement didn’t clog up the flow of guests. Sophie & Renwick’s Island Palms December Wedding

Sophie & Renwick held their small, intimate December wedding at the Island Palms Hotel & Marina in San Diego and didn’t hold back on anything!  It was just a few days after the Christmas Holiday which made it a perfect way to celebrate with family and close friends. The late December weather was nearly perfect, although the winds coming off of the adjacent harbor made for a chilly, but memorable ceremony held at the Sunset Garden. The ceremony concluded with a Dove Release as I...

Carmel Mountain Ranch Corporate Party DJ & Lighting

A past bride of mine contacted me after 4 years since doing her wedding, and they were looking to “change things up” with their holiday party being held at the Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club. They had also re-branded themselves with a new identity and logo so wanted to help show it off. After recommending a custom gobo monogram projection using their new logo, along with some uplighting to match their coporate colors, the stage was set.  The corporate holiday party included...

Natalie & Jeff’s Wiens Family Cellars Temecula Wedding

December weddings are always a pleasure and helping Natalie & Jeff with theirs kept this promise true!  They held their complete weddings on location at Wiens Family Cellars Winery in Temecula, CA.  The celebration began memorable, and ended memorable therefore did not disappoint!  The entire wedding was full of irony for me personally as well.  More on that later. The evening ceremony started just after sunset and finished in complete darkness under a December chilly night for a ceremony...

Shannon & Josh’s Gorgeous December Wedding at Tom Ham’s Lightouse

Shannon and Josh chose a daytime wedding in December.  A bit risky? Don’t forget, we’re in San Diego so they chose correctly! After a week full of rain and cold weather, the skies broke for what turned out to be a huge contingent of Out of Town guests. It was gorgeous, and everyone was treated to a beautiful outdoor, San Diego “winter” wedding. They held their ceremony in the Cul-de-Sac just outside of Tom Ham’s Lightouse.  I’ve worked Tom Ham’s no...
