Custom Gobo Monogram and some special effects lighting made an otherwise empty air-wall really show off!

Allan and Alison celebrated their all-inclusive wedding day at the Hilton Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA. The wedding ceremony was outside an the Parterre Garden followed by a Cocktail Hour inside the Foyer of the Grande Ballroom. We helped light up the room with Blue Uplighting along with a Custom Gobo Monogram that was also further highlighted with custom surrounding light effects. It really made the otherwise empty air wall really stand out – good thing since the focus point was right there with Alison & Allan’s table right underneath. Dinner, Dancing and the rest of the wedding reception was a great one. A custom mixed Father Daughter medley was a big hit (See below). The wedding reception was was highlighted at the end with Allan and Alison coming out in chef hats to deliver a full cart of Sliders & Fries for the guests to enjoy as a little parting gift.

Working with Sabrina and her team from La Dolce Idea was a great experience and she was on top of everything from well in advance during planning through us being the last ones out of the room well after the wedding ended!

Custom Father Daughter Dance Medley

I was asked to put together a custom dance medley for the Father Daughter dance. Alison provided with a list of songs and general “cut points”. I recorded it as a live mix to provide a “sneak peak” for Alison and her father to practice too.

  Chef David! Thanks for visiting the site! You put on a great event and the food was of course, wonderful (even us vendors were able to enjoy, albeit quickly 😉 The sliders at the end were excellent too!
