Alex & Lindsay's La Jolla Wedding at Martin Johnson House

As a wedding vendor, there are always those special events that stand out. This was one of them. Alex and Lindsay got married and had their reception at Martin Johnson House in La Jolla, California, and we were honored to provide their wedding lighting. The unique venue is a historic oceanfront cottage that’s nearly 100 years old and one of the most sought after wedding venues in San Diego!

This event was extra special, because the bride is a local wedding planner and it’s humbling to be asked by a fellow vendor to help them with their big day. It has always been a pleasure working with Lindsay and First Comes Love San Diego.

Her outdoor wedding was accented by uplighting, market lighting, and wash lighting. We lit up the two large multi-level teak decks, and the surrounding grassy areas. The lighting combined with the sunset to create some gorgeous photos; see our favorites below. Congratulations again to Lindsay and Alex!
