Virgil & Penny's Steel Canyon Wedding - Pro Motion Entertainment

Virgil & Penny and their guests were Wow’d with the custom uplighting and gobo patterns used to enhance their reception.

Virgil & Penelope have been awesome to work with to prepare for their BIG celebration at the Steel Canyon Golf Club in Jamul, California which turned out to be an awesome place to hold a wedding! Since “Virge & Penny” were going all out, we had multiple planning meetings and a site visit ahead of time to review the arrangement, flow, timeline and all of the event lighting that we were bringing into the Pavilion. It paid off!

The wedding ceremony was held right across the way at a dedicated site that was built perfectly for holding such events. 150+ guests shielded themselves from the sun with umbrellas that Virgil & Penny supplied. We invited guests to the side patio for Appetizers and Cocktails, where they could enjoy the vast mountainous views and the breeze coming through the valley. Dinner and Dancing followed inside the pavallion and it started with an ultra-high energy wedding party entrance. Virgil made it no secret that he’s been dreaming of entering to “Sirius” (the Chicago Bulls Theme song) which has a dramatic buildup for a perfect fit. Dinner was served and then into Dancing.

Virgil & Penny were groovy all night long!!

Sun set during this time and we adjusted the abundance of custom lighting using amber uplighting and dark blue gobo pattern lighting to add effect to the ceiling. After some open dancing, we cut the cake, bouquet/garter and then were entertained by a great video “love story” of Virge and Penny. We were reminded that they actually met in Jr. High School, over 19 yrs ago! We ended the night with a great, long dance set!
