Jason & Janelle got marred at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla and what was supposed to be a beautiful, outdoor wedding overlooking the Pacific Ocean, turn into a rain-soaked, tent covered outdoor chill-fest . . . but it was awesome!
Seriously, it was awesome!
While cold and facing challenging circumstances, Jason, Janelle and all of their guests experienced a wedding that likely no one will forget. Everyone truly had a good time celebrating!
A few days before the wedding, tents were called in. On the wedding day, we all made the decision to hold the ceremony on the lower deck instead of the lawn, also a good decision. (The string quartet, which braved the conditions, had the entire lower tent to themselves 🙂 ) Cocktail hour, and dinner remained outside, but dancing and party time moved into the house. A fun “Slow Motion” photobooth was also present which was a big hit too!
At the end of the night, it was a huge success and probably one of the most memorable wedding’s we’ve taken part of. We were honored to have helped with the Tent Lighting, Market Lighting, Indoor Lighting and DJ/MC Services.

What a fun wedding! Martin Johnson House is such a great space. I haven’t had a rainy wedding here yet, so it’s really great to see the space being utilized so well in wet weather! Thanks for sharing 🙂
It’s certainly better without the rain, but we all made it work 🙂 Thank you for visiting!
