Christian and Karina got married and had their wedding reception at Hotel La Valencia in La Jolla, California, and we were honored to provide their event lighting and DJ/MC services. The evening (for us) began with Cocktail Hour on the Verandah Terrace, and then the celebration moved inside for dinner, music and dancing!
Light Pink uplighting warmed up the room, complemented the wedding colors, and added an elegant touch to the event. The ceiling was washed with a similar color during dinner, but then shifted to a rainbow of colors for the dancefloor lighting, which added to the fun and festive mood. We also did pinspotting on the cake table to call attention to the yummy cake.
This event called for additional sound support because the bride and groom had a keyboardist that needed an amplified speaker set up during the ceremony. We arrived earlier than normal to deliver/setup the small sound system and it worked perfect for their organist.
