Erik & Amber’s Coronado Marriott Resort Wedding

Erik and Amber held their stunning August wedding at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort and Spa and I was very excited  to provide DJ/MC services and wedding lighting for this special day!

The beautiful ceremony was held outside in the well-manicured landscape that features the San Diego Skyline as a gorgeous background, followed by a cocktail hour held outside on the resort lawn. We helped set the mood for the cocktail hour by supplying a remote wireless sound system featuring the Zeen String Quartet.

To bring the outdoor tent to life we supplied pink wash and fill lighting to compliment the Chinese lanterns, centerpieces, and color palette of the wedding. The addition of the wash and fill lighting filled the empty ceiling and set the scene for a beautiful evening. Once the mood was set, I introduced the bridal party and recognized of the parents, followed by Erik and Amber’s First Dance to “Everything” by Michael Buble. The rest of the evening was filled with dinner, open dancing, and Fireworks set against the San Diego Night Sky!

Custom Design Gobo Monogram

I was also asked to design a custom Gobo Monogram, to highlight the evening! The custom Gobo featured both Erik and Amber’s name, joined by the Letter “G” to symbolize them tying the knot, and the date! Even the Videographers loved the custom Gobo for Erik and Amber so much that we caught them videotaping it!

Working with Erik and Amber was a pleasure and it was a beautiful wedding from beginning to end! Congratulations to the new couple Mr and Mrs Gantz!
